You Cook Like a Girl

Fresh Applesauce

8 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 c water
1/2 c sugar (less if you prefer, or brown rice syrup or maple syrup)
1/4 t cinnamon

in 2 qt microwave safe bowl, combine apples and water
Cover with vented plastic wrap and micro on high for 12 -14 minutes.
rotate every 4 minutes.
Stir in sugar and cinnamon.
Serves 4.

Can be used as a relish for pork.
